My name is Nathan and I like to write songs about nonsensical things. Songs like, "My Head is a Giant Pankcake". I just made that up by the way. "My head is a giant pankcake, so put it on a plate and spread that butter across my face." I just made that up as well! I have a hard time with biography. My music playing began mostly at the age of 15, then right when I reached my twenties, I began writing/recording my own material. Now that I'm in my thirties...I'm in my thirties. I have nothing to say about being in my thirties. I like it - it is what it is. I'm stilll rocking out - sometimes I play more than other times, but I make it a point to keep playing. I wish I could say something like, "Nathan bought his first guitar at 15 with the money he got from mopping floors at the mop factory. It was a jet yellow jazzmaster knock-off that had been sawed in half by a jazzmaster enthusiast who abhors jet yellow," but I can't. And then something like, "He picked up that axe sawn asunder and never looked back," right? What would have happened if I did look back? At that point my life was nothing to complain about. I wouldn't have mind looking back now and then. And I wouldn't have purchased a half of a guitar. Alas, the story ain't true. And I enjoy looking forward. I live in Illinois nowadays.
